10 June 2007 ST Life! (10 Jun 07, Pg L6) reported on youngsters collecting online friends, carrying comments from Assoc Prof Ang Peng Hwa, chair of Wee Kim Wee SCI. He said that people derive value from belonging to a network, be it to share music or what not, adding that online identity allows the younger set to portray themselves as something different from real life.Click here to read more.
